Overview:
ART19 supports Sizmek tags. Sizmek does not support our Encrypted Device IP macro and the passing of IP address in the X-Forwarded-For and X-Device-IP headers is not required. However, if you require more in depth reporting via these 3rd party measurement URL’s, the X-Forwarded-For and X-Device-IP headers should be enabled. To have these headers enabled please reach out to support@art19.com.
As with all 3rd Party measurement URL’s, Sizmek tags can be added at both the campaign or ad level. A measurement URL configured at the campaign level will fire for every ad associated with the campaign. This saves you time if you have multiple pieces of creative requiring the same measurement URL.
Step 1:Sizmek Campaign Level Measurement
Navigate to the campaign details page and scroll to the bottom to find 3rd Party Campaign Measurement.
To add a destination, press the blue plus button and provide a name for your new Measurement Destination. Then click save. Please note, a Measurement Destination can be called whatever you choose but we recommend using a name that includes the 3rd party vendor.
Step 2: Set specific parameters
Click on the pencil icon on the top-right of the card to populate the remainder of your measurement destination information.
A typical Sizmek tag will look like this:
https://bs.serving-sys.com/serving/adServer.bs?cn=display&c=xx&mc=imp&pli=xxxxxxx&PluID=0&ord=[timestamp]&rtu=-1&pcp=$$$$page_view_id=%%PATTERN:page_view_id%%&pos=%%PATTERN:pos%%$$$$
The [timestamp] macro will need to be updated with proper syntax for ART19. To update the pre-existing parameter, highlight the entire parameter.
Then click the corresponding button, in this case TIMESTAMP, to update the macro.
Be sure to set to Active before clicking Update & Close.
