Ad Insertion Points allow you to indicate where you would like an ad to be inserted into your audio. In ART19's WarpFeed, you can add pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll markers to your episodes.
Follow these steps to add Ad Insertion Points to your episodes:
Step 1: Navigate to the WarpFeed card at the Episode level and go into Edit Mode
Step 2: Mark your ad insertion point
Move your cursor over the point that you'd like to insert your ad, click "New Marker," and select "Ad Insertion Point."

Step 3: Designate the Position Type, Maximum Total Time, Maximum Number of Ads, and Priorities
AIP Numbers allow you to define Ad Insertion Points (AIPs) by type (Pre-Roll, Mid-Roll or Post-Roll), regardless of their location in the media file, so long as they are ordered in sequence. AIPs are numbered automatically.
AIP Max Total Time allows you to set the maximum number of seconds your ads can play in this Ad Insertion Marker. If there is extra time there won’t be any silence when your ad creative ends - it will always automatically return to your episode content.
AIP Max Ads Per Insertion is the total maximum number of ads that can run per ad insertion point.
AIP Priorities define the types of ads available to serve into your ad insertion point. There are two types of ads in ART19: Live Reads and Spots. You can choose to limit your ad insertion points to play exclusively live reads, exclusively spots, both, or a specific live read or spot.
Step 4: Process Changes
You can add as many ad insertion markers as you'd like as long as they aren't overlapping. When you are done, remember to click the green Process Changes button to save your changes.
