Step 1: Submit Your New Series Request
To get started, fill out the New Series Request Form. This tells us what we need to set up your series on ART19.
There are two paths depending on your situation:
- Importing an existing podcast from another hosting platform? Select the "Import Series" option on the form. We'll import your existing episodes and audio for you.
- Starting a brand new series? Select "New Series" and we'll create a fresh profile ready for your first episode.
Don't worry if you're not sure about every field on the form - we'll reach out if we need anything else.
Step 2: You'll Receive an Invitation Email
Once your series is set up, you'll receive a welcome email with a link to access it on ART19. If this is your first time on the platform, you'll be asked to create a password.
If you're importing an existing series, we'll send the invitation after all your episodes have been imported. Depending on how many episodes you have, this might take a little longer.
Any additional users added to the series will receive the same welcome email.
Step 3: Set Up Your Series Profile
Imported your series from another host? Your series description, artwork and details will have been brought across from your existing feed. You can skip to Publishing An Episode - just make sure you've set your redirect from your previous host to your new ART19 feed.
Before your series can go live on listening platforms, you'll need to fill out a few details. Go to Series in the left menu, then navigate to the Series Details page.
Fill out the following:
- Series Description - a summary of your show for listeners
- Series Image - must be at least 1400x1400 pixels. We recommend 3000x3000 for the best experience across all platforms.
- Rating - Explicit, Clean, or Unspecified
- Author/Owner Name - your host name or organisation
Step 4: Submit to Listening Platforms
Once your profile is complete and you have at least one published episode (even a short trailer works), you're ready to submit your series to listening platforms.
Find your ART19 RSS feed URL in the Feeds section of the left menu. Click "Primary Feed" and copy the URL. Then submit it to each platform - this is a one-time process, and after that new episodes will appear automatically.
