If you have an ad-free feed set up on your series, you can publish episodes exclusively to that feed without them appearing on your primary feed. This is useful for premium or bonus content for paid subscribers.
If you haven't set up an ad-free feed yet, see Setting Up a New Ad Free Feed first.
Step 1: Create Your Episode
Select "Episodes" from the left side menu under Content, and click the blue "New Episode" button. Upload your audio file and fill in the episode title and description as you normally would.
For a full walkthrough of episode creation, see Publishing An Episode.
Step 2: Save as Draft
Here's the important part: don't set a release date. Leave the release schedule blank and click "Save". This keeps the episode as a draft on your primary feed, so it won't be published there.
Step 3: Add to Your Ad-Free Feed
Click the feed dropdown at the top of the episode page (it shows "Primary Feed" by default) and select "Add to Feed". Choose your ad-free feed from the list and click "Create".
For more on managing episodes across multiple feeds, see Managing Episodes With Multiple RSS Feeds.
Step 4: Set the Release Date on the Ad-Free Feed
Click "Edit" on the ad-free feed version of the episode. Set your release date and time here, and add an end date if needed. Click "Save".
Verify Your Setup
Back on the Episodes page, you should see:
- Primary Feed version showing as DRAFT (won't publish)
- Ad-Free Feed version showing as SCHEDULED with your chosen date
That's it - your episode will only go live on the ad-free feed.
