You can view a history of changes made to your campaigns. This is helpful to determine the cause of a change in a campaign’s performance, or to track down trafficking mistakes.
To view a campaign’s history, click on the “Last updated…” link in the upper right corner of the Campaign detail page.
View the history on mobile devices by clicking the Campaign Change History icon.
Note: if you, or someone else in your profile makes changes to a campaign while you’re currently viewing its history page, you’ll need to refresh the page to view these updates.
Each record in campaign history includes a timestamp, the user who made the change, and a brief description of the specific actions taken. By default, multi-line updates are collapsed, but you can expand the entry by clicking on the caret to the left of the user name in the description. Times are in your profile’s timezone, which can be configured by Owners and Admins on the profile Settings page. Change history is not available to users with a Stats role.
Most user-initiated actions are tracked, beginning with campaign creation. Events are listed chronologically, with the most recent changes appearing first. You can click on the “Date” column header to reverse the sort order.
You can click on the Show Options button to filter the events by user, or date range.
There are some limitations with Campaign Change History:
- History is not available for changes made to campaigns prior to 9/28/20
- Changes to Episode Targeting, and Ad assets are not included
- Series names are not shown after the series are removed from a campaign
