You can replace your episodes' audio at any time, without downtime for your listeners. The new audio will be made available to listening platforms immediately via your RSS feed*.
Please note: If you delete and re-upload the audio, instead of using 'Replace Media File' the episode may be pulled from the platform for up to 24 hours.
Step 1: Navigate to the WarpFeed card on the Episode page and select "Replace Master Media File."
In the top right corner, click on the "Replace Master Media File" button .
Step 2: Upload a new audio file
Drag-and-drop your file onto the WarpFeed card, or click Select File to upload.
Step 3: Process changes
Once your file is uploaded, be sure to click Process Changes. Once processing is complete, new downloads of the episode will receive the updated audio.
Note: We recommend that you use "Replace Master Media File," rather than choosing to "Remove Master Media File" and then reuploading. By replacing the file, the episode remains published and the new audio will be immediately available. If you remove a file, then the episode will become unpublished and you will need to re-publish the episode after uploading a new file.
You can also replace a media file from the "Remove Master Media File" modal. Before an audio file is deleted, you will be offered an option to "Replace Media File." From here, you can upload a new audio file and the episode will remain published. If you need to change the file during the replacement process, select "Cancel Master Media Replacement" to keep the original audio file.
*Please note: any listening platforms that re-host audio (e.g. Spotify) will not re-upload the new file. Reach out to us at support@art19.com if you need assistance.
