There are a number of reasons that Apple would reject or remove a podcast from Apple. Here are several common reasons Apple might remove a series from their platform - you can see their full list here:
- Series Rating Inaccuracy: If your podcast is labeled "Clean" but contains explicit content, it is at risk for removal from listening platforms.
- Keyword Loading Series Titles, Author Names, and Owner Names: Referencing other podcasts, or keyword loading your series title, author name, or owner name can cause Apple to remove your series.
- Explicit Content in Metadata: If your series image or series/episode metadata contains explicit content, your series is at risk for removal from listening platforms.
- No Episodes: If your series doesn't have any published episodes, it will be removed from Apple.
