Step 1: Fill out the New Series Request Form
To start a new series or transfer an existing series to ART19 you will need to fill out the New Series Request Form. This form will give us basic information that we will use to get your series set up on ART19. If you don't know the answers to all the questions in the form that's okay! We'll reach out to discuss any additional information we may need and answer any questions you may have.
Step 2: We'll set up your series and send you a new series invitation when it's ready
Once we have created your series you will receive a welcome email from hello@art19.com. Any additional Admins that are added to the series will receive this same email. If this is your first time accessing ART19 you will be asked to create a new login password.
Once you have logged into ART19.com you can accept access to the new series or access the Series Details through the Profile Picker dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the page.
If you are transferring an existing series from another hosting platform then we will send you a welcome email after we have imported all of your existing episodes to ART19. Depending on how many episodes we are importing, this could take longer than usual. If you have any questions about the import process, feel free to get in touch with us at support@art19.com.
Step 3: Get ready for distribution!
If you are creating a brand new series, then follow the steps below to prepare your series for distribution to listening platforms like Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
If you are importing an existing series from another hosting platform, follow the instructions at the bottom of this step to redirect your current RSS feed to ART19's.
1. Enter your Series Details
You can access your Series Details page by selecting Series from the left side menu. On the Series Details page, you can enter information required to submit your series to listening platforms as well as additional details that will give listeners more information about your series.
To submit your series to listening platforms, you will need to fill out the following information:
- Series Description
- Series Image (Series artwork must be at least 1400 x 1400 pixels; to be accepted to Apple Podcasts, artwork must be 3000 x 3000 pixels)
- Rating (Explicit, Clean, or Unspecified)
- Author/Owner Name (This can be your host or the organization that is managing the series. Information can be duplicated in both fields and cannot consist of email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, or social media handles.)
2. Publish an episode
Listening platforms require at least one published piece of audio on an RSS feed before they will accept a new series on their platform. This does not need to be a full episode—instead, you can publish a trailer or a silent piece of audio that can be unpublished or updated later.
You can learn how to create and publish a new episode here.
3. Submit to listening platforms
After you have updated your Series Details and have published at least one piece of audio, you are ready to submit your series to listening platforms. You can learn how to submit your series to listening platforms here.
