Step 1: Create a New Episode
When you are in the series you’d like to work with, select “Episodes” from the left side menu bar under Content, and click the green “New Episode” button located in the top right corner.
Enter your episode type, title, and season (if applicable), then click “Create.”
Please also see this article if your series has multiple feeds.
Step 2: Add Episode Details
You are now on your Episode Details page. On the Information card, you can enter an episode description, update ratings, add tags, and more. Note that the areas marked with a red asterisk (*) are required fields. Click to save.
If you are using episode numbers, your episode will automatically be given a number but you can manually edit this on the Information card if needed. For more information on episode numbers, click here.
The series image will cascade down to your new episode on the Image card, but you can change it to be episode specific by clicking on the located in the upper right corner. Images must be at least 1400 x 1400 pixels. To be eligible for featured placement in Apple Podcasts, artwork must be 3000 x 3000 pixels.
You can add credits as well, by clicking on the pencil icon in the top right corner.
Step 3: Upload Audio File

For best results we recommend using uncompressed files, such as a WAV, AIF, FLAC or ALAC (Apple Lossless), but almost any audio format will work. For more information on the type of audio file you should upload, follow this link.
If you are using Dynamic Ad Insertion, make sure your ad insertion markers are set up properly.

On the Distribution card, either publish the episode immediately or schedule a time and day for a future release (the time reflects your current timezone).
Step 5: Share
Once the episode is live, it is available right away for your listeners. You can use the Share card to easily distribute the episode to your audience on social media.
